So I just hit 80 and I’m trying to decide on spec and gear.
I want to do a shortbow + axe/warhorn condition and trap build.
I was hoping to find gear with power/toughness/condition damage, but it seems like this combo doesn’t exist.
What is the best extant stat combo for that type of build, anyone have any suggestions. I know there’s power/precision/condition gear but I wanted a bit of defensive stats so I’m not a glass cannon, and I really don’t want to stack vitality as I didn’t plan on traiting into that tree so it seems like I wouldn’t get the full effect of it anyway.
Does anyone know if theres gear out there with power/toughness/condition damage combo?
I can’t seem to find any listed anywhere on TP or guildhead.
If you know of a set, I’d love to know what it’s called and/or where I would get it.
So I finished my personal story quest and got to the very end. All I needed to do was talk tos ome people to finish, but for various reasons (a long story which doesnt belong here) I went afk. I came back and I was disconnected.
Upon re-entering the personal story instance, the entire quest was back at the beginning. Is this working as intended, and it truly doesn’t save your progress throughout the course of a stage at all?
Seems really bizarre if this is how its actually supposed to be.
But Serpent Strike just looks so cool!
I like some of the inherent dodge mechanics in the sword abilities, like Serpent Strike. Its an evade+damage and it does a pretty good job of keeping you centered on the mob you’re fighting with very little extra management.
Now the evade abilities that send you straight backwards, those are not my favorite. I want to use all of my abilities as often as possible when I’m just grinding levels so I’m not just auto-attacking when I could be using cooldowns, but its annoying to use an ability, evade backwards when you don’t really need to, then have to run back into melee range. I understand abilities of that nature have very situational moments when they perform really well, but overall, I like the evade in a circle type motion of Serpent Strike much more.
You probably know this, but just in case:
After you leap back with #2, the button changes and if you press it again you leap back toward the enemy. So you don’t need to run back at them.
