Wow… imkitten I just assumed there was a cost but the cost was 0. The frustrating part was european server

Im simply going to copy and paste my ticket to this thread.

I started the game on Yaks Bend server so as to play with family and friends. Shortly after this my account was compromised by a hacker and my account was frozen for a week. After playing the game for an amount of time I realized that the trouble playing with friends extended past the normal overflow issues and that my homeworld was changed to Augury rock without my concent. Please help me understand what is going on.

The reason I ask for an ETA is I would like to know if it would be preferable to remake this new charcter i grew fond of or remake my old one which im also fond of… if its like a week i might as well remake my old main…

and whats the ETA on the rollback being available?

so the character I recently made while waiting will be deleted if I decide to roll back since it was made after the deletion? awesome… >.>

I appreciate being unlocked but I still have a character that is not back and restored. It was deleted by I assume the hacker and has yet to be restored. Character name Manara Serous Asura Elementalist level 25.

Is my ticket still open? Should I create a new one? can my character even be restored???

Any help would be appreciated.

Got an automated message stating my ticket will be reviewed shortly. God I hope to get everything back and hope my character was restored from the hacker deleting it.

Im just going bonkers waiting to play the game again. I hope I wont have to open another ticket when I get reinstated so I can get my main that was deleted too >.>. I hope both of my issues are resolved in one go

Yeah my main character was deleted (presumably by the hacker) and so I changed my password and email password multiple times. An hour after making a new character waiting for my main to be restored I was banned by the gold seller/hackers actions

Same thing happened to me with one of my characters. Shortly after I made a new one while waiting I was banned. Ive had a ticket out for 4-5 days now

HAHAHA!!! Every bad word is automatically changed to kitten. Props to arenanet here atleast!!!

It is the nature of everything and everyone to be upset with something that does not live up to not only your own expectations but one created by the developers. Regardless if they are working tirelessly or did everything possible to create a safe and stress free game environment, their are people stuck in limbo who payed their dues without reward. It’s not necessarily the dev teams fault, but I have every right to bekitten and unamused by sitting here with a banned account because of something out of MY control.

This doesnt help me if the hacker got me banned within an hour of realizing I was hacked. Glad everyone else is able to get back on but I get to sit here and wait after I spent my hard earned money on a game that I can’t freaking play.

Maybe I should get a job at arenanet just to be able to unban myself……

Title says it all. I got hacked, the hacker I believe deleted my main character. Had like 8 emails requesting password changes. I have put in a ticket once for the hack so that I could recover my main character. and now another ticket as I was banned while playing on a newly made character while waiting for the resolution to my hack. Now I can’t even play. Can an admin please respond to this so I know a wait time on my tickets?

Has this exact thing happened to anyone else?
