I am female and all my characters are females except one. The male is a Asura created to resemble my little male chihuahua : )

Not and event but for some reason I am really enjoying the Charr personal story. I finally broke down after three years and created a Charr. I made her female and for some reason, this is the first time I feel the personal story is really personal to her.

Errr..maybe too personal as she is now running around with a Rytlock mini . Something must have happened that “we” do not discuss when I logged out for the night . : )

Serioulsy though…this has made me want to go back and create new characters for each race since I now think I rushed through the stores on my first characters .

All the little heart “quests” and events now mean more to me as a player since I now see how those events are relevant to my Charr’s personal story.

That is really sad if the ESL stuff is delaying Winterfest. I will not spend money this season if I find out that is why the festival was delayed.

I appreciate that certain items are tradeable. I have stage 4 breast cancer and there are times I am unable to play due to side effects of my chemo.

I know there are items I will never obtain in the game due to my intermittent inability to play and that is fine. I do appreciate being able to play a bit here and there and to save up my in game gold so I can buy the items I was working towards.

I found him last night in Commodore’s Quarter. I purchased the Candy Corn Cob from him.

I am starting to regret paying the 99 bucks. I could have purchased the lesser pack and bought the 50 bucks worth of gems down the road.

Still no gems. I hope we do not have to wait the whole 72 hours.

I noted the message when I logged in. Just wondering if pre purchasers have received them.

I have chemo treatments and then for a few days I do not feel all that well. With that being said, I tend to play on and off. I do really enjoy playing and am interested in the new expansion. Is there anything in the new expansion that would be accessible to a casual solo player?

Hello everyone,
I am very new to Guild Wars 2 and did not play Guild Wars. I am kind of lost although I am enjoying the game very much. I went searching for a beginner’s guide and the only guides I have found were created back in August or September of last year.

I know games change and so I do not know if I am reading the correct information. Can anyone recommend a good player’s guide for a total Guild Wars noob? I have been gaming for about 20 years so I know how to play a mmorpg. A guide that helps explain the best crafts and how pvp works in this game etc would be great.

Meanwhile, I of course will keep reading these forums and gather as much info I can.

Just hoping there may be a nice starting guide out there.
