I will never understand the desire of some “players” to solo every single content of massively multiplayer role playing game. And not just the desire but entitlement as well. If you wanna play entire game solo w/o anyone bothering you just go play Skyrim (or any sp game, I believe there are many of those on market).

I understand your frustration but NOTHING is as bad as or worse, or as tormenting as Aion’s loot system. That game’s RNG caused me severe mental trauma that causes Korean MMOs to scare the **** outa me.

I gave up on getting the weapon I wanted at around my 250th fractal tho. Just don’t worry about the weapon and think of it as gathering 20 slot bags.

Heh I still remember farming for Stormwing set. I spent half of year trying to get it, every day doing that same kitten instance all over again (in the end friends of mine let me loot last part). Not to mention Fenris/Miragent set farming – it puts even legendary farm to shame.

Too bad you can remove costume brawl combat status at any time now. Had fondest of memories fearing people off cliff or denying them entrance to cauldron.

That drop rate is sooo random. I am around 300 fractals and got the following: Greatsword x2, one handed sword, focus, pistol, long bow, short bow, harpoon gun, torch. Starting to run out of space in bank :-D

I agree 9 of 10 fractals (30+ currently) go usually w/o any major problem. Sure we got MF wh..leecher there and AR 0 there but in general pleasant experience with pugs. Never really used vote kicking or was kicked (although i left 1 or 2 grps – mostly elitists or go goers). But I agree that vote kick should be at least 3.

There are few “alright” staffs in game. I personally like (and have) Crossing (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:The_Crossing.jpg) . Somewhat decent with “PhysX effects” :-D

Yeah, gotta wonder what Yahtzee (Zero punctuation) will choose this year. (Since he is a banana)

All this could be avoided by simply implementing normal trade window between players (like in ANY MMORPG out there – it obviously isn’t rocket science) – but noooo we have to implement silly toys and holiday events first !
