Will this work with my laptop? I have a AMD HD 6740 with AMD a8 3520m proccessor with a 6620 APU chip.

Just to add in yes i know high res textures wont affect my fps issue but i want my character to look pretty when im not doing wvw/big events

Hello, currently have an ASUS N53TA laptop with the following specs:

8gb ram
Radeon 6740 HD 2gb
AMD A8 3520M 1.6ghz quad core (i dont know how to activate turbo boost/overclock) with radeon 6620g APU crossfired
Windows 7 64 bit
1366×768 resolution

For some unknown reason, the high res textures option does not work on my laptop, i can click it to enable it but when i change map or even restart the game there is no notable difference. But even with high res options off my necromancer’s pets have better textures than my actual character. Is there any way to fix this issue and is anyone else getting it? On many of my friends laptops that use nvidia cards i have seen the option working for them properly with the same resolution.

Additionally, the game runs faster on computers slower than mine (yes i am running my laptop on high performance lol). I included a screenshot of my video options in game.

edit: I forgot to add in im using the 12.8 catalyst drivers.
