The ultra-sensitive mouse thing happens to me every time I get disconnected from the game without closing the client. During server shutdowns, or when I go idle for too long. To fix it you just have to close the game completely (including the log in screen).
The beta is the entire game, it’s just on the beta stage. She would still be able to play with everyone who has a copy of Guild Wars 2 (PC or Mac). Oh and your opinions are not facts. If you don’t like Macs don’t buy them, but don’t hate on the either. Might be gaming isn’t her priority?
