The forums are mostly for player to player support. If you ever want an individual response to anything, submit a support ticket for it. Occasionally ANet staff will comment here, and they definitely read the forums, but … it’s not where the respond.
I actually did wrote a ticket about this problem. All I wanted is an answer, if this is permanent “feature” or a bug that will be eventually fixed?
What I got instead of that was :
Though we do not have access to the information that would answer your questions regarding hair and accessory colors, I think you may be able to find an answer on the official forums if you post your question there.
It’s quite upsetting because most of us spend a lot of gems on total makeover kits and want their characters to look perfect. For me it’s very important how my charr looks like. I put a lot of weight on it and it’s a huge part of what makes my experience with this game so pleasurable.
