I like the idea where the individual teams would split up, just like the normal dungeons, then meet for a final boss. I would only imagine the final boss would be a lot like the dragon fights in the open world, only less health. Its a good idea in the making.
I don’t want to sound cynical, but Guild Wars 2 is rather poor when is comes to Guild and Guild Systems. Sure the Influence system is very well done, however that generally covers it.
For all extensive pruposes, the following rank structure will be used in the suggestions:
Leader
Officer 1
Officer 2
Member 1
Member 2
Member 3
Here are some of my suggestions for reworking or improving the Guild Experience.
1. Add a new permission in the Ranks that allows that rank to recruit.
2. Instead of the “Admin Lower ranks” have “Highest Level of Admin” and a drop box with all the ranks below that. e.g. Officer 2 has the “Highest Level Of Admin” checked and the rank Member 2 is in the drop box. This means that Officer 2 can only Admin member of ranks Member 2 and below.
3. A system similar to to BLT, where guild will place orders for member and use Influence for Currency. Be it a place for guilds to advertise more or less.
4. An in-game Calender would be useful in organisation.
5. Every time that a public banner is used, a small amount of influence is gained for that guild, However, once a banner is activated, the player that activated it will still be able to re-activate but the guild won’t gain additional Influence.
