Guild Wars 2

Yeap, had this happen about once a week for a month now. I find it very frustrating & I would really like to stop the “Amazing Disappearing Vale Guardian”! ANet? Your move.

According to the rules:
The winners of this Contest will be posted on www.guildwars2.com on or around September 18, 2017. A list of winners can also be obtained by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to “Guild Wars 2 Elonagram Screenshot Contest 2017;” ArenaNet; 3180 139th Avenue SE, Suite 500; Bellevue, Washington 98005 USA, for receipt by no later than December 31, 2017.
There is no news on www.guildwars2.com as of 8-30-17 regarding the winners. Where is the list?

I purchased the Package including the Immortal weapon skin. There was no forewarning that this skin would not behave like every other skin that I have had, purchased, traded BL tickets for, or received from events/festivals in GW2 before.
The skin is a 1 time use only item, it does not go into the account wardrobe. I applied the chosen skin to a random weapon to acquire the skin through salvaging. The item this skin is applied to is not salvageable. It should be accessible in my wardrobe so I could use transmutation charges to change it to another look at some future time I got bored with the skin. It is not.
Additionally, there was no warning that the skin would not be added to my account wardrobe, or that it was a single use item. It displays as every other skin does “Use to apply this to —-” If Guild Wars 2 is going to classify skins differently, a warning to the user should also be issued.
This is an issue which will affect other players besides myself, and possible sales to the company. The expectation that one would have the look in the wardrobe is integral the use of – and future sales of – transmutation charges. Why have transmutes, or buy them, if skins become a onetime use only item without wardrobe storage?

I think it would be of immeasurable help to all players if there was a way GW2 could add a line of code to highlight our friends list, or send an auto alert, when a friend on that list is online.
My habits are the same of a lot of players, we log on, check to see who is on from the friends list, proceed to play, get so caught up in the game, we forget to check for our friends until we are ready to log out. This defeats the purpose of a friends list. Not all friends are in the same guild.
Perhaps this is a small convenience we should have in one manner or another.
