I’m a level 13 mesmer, and I cannot commune with any of the points where I should be able to simply by clicking F and then commune. Instead, all I see if “I’ll come back later”. The points I’m trying to commune at are below my level, and the icon for them still shows as a hollow blue arrow both on the map and over the commune point. I’ve only gotten 3 commune points so far at level 13, but have visited 6. 3 of them failed to give me the option to commune, two were simple click to commune, one was do something with slime (Which it would never give me), my friend is the same level as me and was with me at all 3 times where he could commune and I couldn’t. One such commune point is Earthen Magic, I tried coming back to it twice with no luck.
Also noticed I can’t view the # out of total of vistas, commune points, etc. on the M map, friend sees them I don’t, I used to see them in the past… All filters checked, can see the icons around the map, just not the totals I’ve gotten thus far.
I’ve tried:
Repairing the install
Deleting the local.dat file
Anything else anyone can think of?
Just leave it, mine froze for around 5 minutes but eventually just finished. Progress bar got up to around 5%, then jumped to 100% after leaving it. You should still see heavy disk and CPU usage while it is frozen, this would indicate it’s still actually working.
