Galaxy V.9153

I’m still at a far too low level to care about Legendary Weapons, but I am slowly but surely on my to get The Flameseeker Prophecies. I try to save as many materials that I think I might need and I am trying to get both my Tailoring and Weaponsmithing Crafting Skills up to max so I don’t have to care about levelling my craft when I start grinding for materials. Along the Flameseeker, I want to eventually get my hands on Infinite Light. It is not a Legendary, but an Exotic (which means the stats are no different). It has its own effect which I think matches the Legendary Shield and also matches my Guardian. If I manage to get The Flameseeker Prophecies, then I might try and get the other Legendaries as well, but only maybe, as it will be extremely time cunsuming and I might not end up using the others.

Rate the Humans name above you

4/10. Very unique. I have never seen someone named Regan before (might just be me?) and by adding “Hail” as a last name I could guess that she/he (Sorry to anyone who’s called Regan) is an elementalist? No? It may seem like a good name, but it doesn’t really have much excitement to it that you would expect from someone whose destiny is to kill a Dragon…

My Human Character is named “Sir Waleran”. Waleran was apparently a common Medieval name, and I think it seemed like a nice name. I wouldn’t mind being named Waleran. It sounds so Elite and Royal, which is another reason I named him this. The “Sir” prefix I added because of his status as a Noble (and also because just “Waleran” was already being used, but that dosn’t really matter).

So why are you a Human?

I play as a Human because… because… I’m not entirely sure. I like the Human Race. They do have bad Racial Skills, but I have gotten attached to my level 60 Guardian and do not want to delete him. I have never gotten past level 35 with any other character before, neither have I levelled up so fast, but that’s probably only because I play more than I used to. I do not know why I ended up choosing being a Human, but I do not really regret it.

Game Improvement - Suggestions

Galaxy V.9153

I have some suggestions. Most of them has already been put up by other users and some I might not remember, but I still have a few.

1. When characters use weapon swapping the weapon(s) they used before vanishes and another set of weapons appears. It shouldn’t disappear. It should be visibly stowed the same way as if you were currently using it. This way it will seem more realistic.

2. Wielding a Longbow or Shortbow should also give you something to store the arrows in! Where do they come from?

3. The entrance to every new area shouldn’t be accessable through an asura gate if the location is just on the other side.

4. Wapoints shouldn’t cost you if you are in a relatively close radius. Once i got stuck and had to pay 10 bronze to get to a waypoint that weren’t far away at all. It isn’t much money, but I had low level then and my character was poor.

5. If you have a low level and you want to try WvW, even if you have the level scaling you’ll be defeated almost instantly. This is because the stats of your character improves to Level 80, but the stats of your armor and weapons doesn’t improve much at all. It is the same for dungeons.

6. You shouldn’t be scaled down too much when you enter a low(er) level area. You could get easily defeated if your armor and weapon stats aren’t high enough.

Quaggans are my favorite race of all in Tyria… I wish you could play as one…

Leveling help

I also has levelling problems, as my highest levelled character is still at only level 19.

I believe you should try and ignore trying to level up and just play. I mean doing what you think is fun. When doing this, I usually level up very quickly.

Every time a Dynamic Event appears, you should always participate, if possible. It gives you some Experience, plus some Karma and Coin. The amount rewarded, I think, depends on the recommended level for the Event.

Gathering is important if your character is a Crafter. Every time you walk past a Gathering node you should, if possible, go and collect your loot. Do not sell the collectiables you find! They could be really useful for crafting. There is a special storage accessiable through the Crafting stations that have unlimited space, but can only store collectiables and ingredients for Crafting. This storage can be accessed through the bank as well.

Crafting can be very useful. You could reach very high levels through Crafting only.

Map Completion could be a very effiecient way of gaining Experience. You should always complete Heart Quests and Skill Challenges(which gives you other rewards as well!). You should always try and find the Waypoints and reach the Viewpoints of every area. Once you have completed the map of a specific area, you recieve huge awards, which are even larger if you acieve 100% Map Completion!

Story Quests and Dungeons would give you some Experience if you complete it.

Always kill native creatures/enemies, unless you’re outmanned or if the enemy/creature has a higher level than you.

Revieving Players and NPCs also give you Experience. Don’t leave anyone behind!

You should always try and complete your Daily Achievements, plus other Achievements as well. They give you a high amount of Experience and is easy to complete.
