Guild Wars 2

I recently reinstalled the whole game due to the launcher not responding after pressing the play button after the latest patch.

Now when I get ingame my character has blurry low res textures, It doesnt matter if i put the texture setting to low/med/high, its still blurry. I’ve updated drivers to 12.8 latest version.

i7 3ghz
asus rampage 2 mb
6gig ram

Getting a similar problems since 3 days (after the latest patch I believe) the game launcher stops responding after clicking play. It will sometimes work though, usually after restarting the computer though this was yesterday. Today i’ve tried to endlessly get to the character screen without avail.

Nothing changed on my computer and i’ve played without issue since headstart. Any ideas?

I’m reinstalling the whole game now. I’ll post here if it helped. And yeah I also had that windows update but it would seem strange that this would affect GW2.

Regardless i’ve been able to play GW2 with zero problems since head-start, its only now, out of the blue, that i suddenly cant launch the game anymore. Nothing on my computer changed at least.

Bump. Having this problem as well. Has anyone solved this? It seems random wether or not the game will launch and get to the character screen.

Same problem here. Cannot launch the game after the latest update. What is causing this?

My game just started doing this since yesterday, i don’t have a clue why but it wont launch anymore. Does not reach the character screen. If i keep trying it will eventually work though but last time it took 6 tries.

Connecting from Amsterdam area, my pings on online games are usually 15ms and no packetloss obviously.

Started to notice network, packetloss style, lag since a few days ago. In some zones it seems fine but in others there will be a pause in gameplay of 1 to 2 seconds every 5 or so seconds. Very annoying and brings down enjoyment of the game by a lot.

This didn’t happen during headstart or the week after that, smooth lagless gameplay until now.
