Im not very good in economics, but I think the exploitation of TP leading to price hike is a concern.

I do agree with you Babel, on the issues that you have raised, but I could not help wondering, if Anet would need to regulate the market and based on your average price regulation, but would it lead to insufficient supply?

It’s like I know “commodity A” is rare, I will hold it, and release it slowly so that the price will increase gradually. I just have to sell each item more expansive than the other for it to hike slowly. If I have 100 with me, I will simply sell 1 or 2 in a day or two, or simply do not sell at all.

If everyone’s doing it, this leads to an artificial insufficient supply situation and that leads to rise in prices :x

I think some of the policies of the TP has to be evaluated from time to time, such as probably listing items that have yet to been listed.

E.g. At the start of the Xmas event, should I obtain a exotic candy staff cane (Presuming there’s such a thing :p) then I can choose to list it immediately.
Of course you may say, other people will list it cheaper but look, If I list it at 500g, I doubt the price varies can’t be lower than 490g. I know the place orders part could mean some people just get it at a super low price (some people sell things without checking) and a huge profit will be made.

Hahax, I like the way you and Logun make Gw2 like a small nation to govern, but somehow I guess we wont know the figures unless Anet discloses and that we don’t get to produce like firms in analogy, “output” —> drop rates.

Hello all,

I have to admit that the new “Bag of Wonderous goods” has helped, but unfortunately, many of us find ourselves getting “Dark Vine”/“FoeFire Amulet” which is kinda frustrating especially for us level 80s.

I’ve only read page 1 and 5 of this topic, but I would certainly second these ideas:

1) Acquiring Lodestones through the use of tokens. The price on TP is ridiculous, and it makes infinite light looks like a legendary. On top of that, the chance of it dropping is just like whether will it rain today? >___<

2) LFG. Enough said, hope there’s a easier way to find Dungeon Run groups. I ought to thank FOTM for buffing up the amount of people in LA and thus the Overflows, making LA more active for finding people. However, I suppose what Dungeon we do depends on what the Map chat has, or whether our guildies are in the mood to do it or not.

3) Token Gallery. I admit, they do take up space, loads more space for those who do them daily, many times.

4) A Bug system. I’ve to admit, Twilight Arbour is challenging and a few times, it bugged after killing the stupid tree on Path 1. There goes all the token rewards and effort spent. Maybe there should be some kind of error systems that Admins can look at, such that when we report it, you can look into them, then probably re imburse the tokens later? I guess Dungeon will be a crucial part to look at, since it takes much effort and time to complete, no1 would wanna complete it and walk off empty handed.

5) New paths for the old dungeons for Fractuals or Ascended Gears?

6) Lastly, I totally agree for New dungeons (like a Crystal minions; Shatterer those or Quaggons based) , or increasing the amount of people to do dungeons. Maybe this will help to “kill time” as bosses take so long to die.

Dude, slaying dragons is epic.

Claw of Jormag’s event’s sountrack changes to an epic one, the cold ground makes you(ur character) shiver with damage, take up your role guarding the cannons or breaking the ice shield or protecting the golems.

I still see many people dying at Sunless, which is quite interesting because the poison marks and bloaters are kinda obvious. But kind hearted people still ress them (I sometimes leave them to ress back at the WP cause the poison is just too strong to ress them)

Shatterer has been improved much from the first Shatterer, making it harder to down. Previously it could be down in 5 mins, and people will all kill it first when 2 dragons are in bound. Now, it’s harder. (refer to the gentleman starscream above’s nice description of the dragon)

I enjoy the 3 dragon fights because while waiting, there’s loads of crap and rubbish as well as gossips shared, plus the various people’s theories on this game like mf and etc etc etc (quite interesting)

In any case, the rewards may be so-so but so many people wait for these 3 dragons. I do hope they have more dragons at least, because it’s quite fun during dragon fights.

Lastly, if u think fighting dragons is still bullkitten, okay, the main thing is you have a chance of getting rares, in which 4 rares you combined MAY get you a precursor.

P.S: THERE"S SOMETHING IN THE WATER…..

Hello Crystal Desert citizens,

Weeks since the server launch, I & you are the just plain citizens of Crystal Desert.

World Vs World needs a part of you, normal citizens to lend your strength.

As the reset just appeared, hopes of us desperately trying to reclaim our lands, even just defending was just a glimpse of our poor memories.

Many of us fall, died defending keeps, camps that were once ours.

I am no general, no veteran in war, neither am I a commander.

But I come before all in crystal desert, (who’s browsing this thread) to lend a strength and aid the battles happening in World Vs World.

We are getting overwhelmed as I speak, while overwhelmed isn’t a good thing because simply means we’re handicapped, but the low participation of our server.

& before just considering why you should, why not? You gain bonus for the camps,keeps we hold as well as get the thrill of killing enemies instead of environments.

I humbly now asked guilds with strength to step forth with alliances. This is because war cannot be fought by just group, it is a unity of many groups.

I believe, starting with guild leaders who are interested to play a key role in WvW to form alliances, so that stronger friendship will be forged ad mist the tide of war and thrash those invaders out. No offense to Db and Jq, but I’m sure we Crystal Deserters would want more glory in WvW.

Yo, lvl 68 Ele here. I do agree we are quite paper for a class, but we’re more of the magic dealers for elements, be it slow, burn, bleed and etc..

So far i’m non-pvp player, so I’m just more on exploring.

I suggest using daggers for solo mobs (like storyline) and staff for bosses.

Fire traits does huge damages as we deal 10% more damage + we deal more if monsters have less than 25% health left.

As much as I hate the fact that we can’t change weapons, but remember, we have all the attunements. Probably we just spam everything from fire to earth, we dish out pretty decent damages. Just that, it’s not easy if the you’re the only target, with a huge mob.

Happened to me recently, I was completed the level 60 story quest. Practically, i was fighting naked because I had to solo 2 veteran krait fighters and their poison was really terrible(died and died and equipments went from yellow to red) I thought that was the end of it, turns out another Boss fight.

x_X spent quite a while at it (i’m noob maybe) but well, probably maybe we need something to ‘decoy’ ourselves? I like the hounds, helps to distract while you cast.

P.S. One fun way i agree with the above peeps we can fight lvl higher mobs is that we can juz AOE as long as the monster’s focus is not on us. Pretty nice way of dishing out damages.
