Which Dungeon Path Did I Complete Already?

Agreed. They do need to add in a way of tracking what you have completed. Better than “you have 3 of 5” done. Well, that is GREAT, but which 3 are done and which 2 are not? Really annoying when you can not look that information up. Perhaps naming which bosses are included in each Path too, also useful information.

The same is true for explorer map achievements. I have nearly all the jumping puzzles done, have full map completion done, and yet still explorer says “you have 48 of 52 done” or something to that effect. Well, that is great too, except which 48 areas have I found and what am I missing? Give me a zone at the least. Not just “somewhere in Magumma Jungle” because that covers a lot of zones and area.

You missed what I wrote. I HAVE total map completion. As to “less defined” areas, that can be very vague, especially when the areas I am missing are probably along the edge of a map. Maps have no defined border. And are fuzzy and vague when zoomed out, with no method of altering the fuzziness or sharpness.

This is only a suggestion due to annoyance more than anything. I have all the jumping puzzles completed, full map completion, and yet the explorer achievements still say I am missing 1-3 areas.

My suggestion: have the achievements list what you have and do not have.

It is really annoying to have no clue where to even start searching for a random missing area, when by all other achievements I believe I technically should already have the explorer achievement done.

I am also concerned about the one-sided economy. It only supports people who have tons of time to farm or extra RL cash to convert into gems-to-gold. As someone who has been trying to get my legendary since day 1, this price insanity is only growing more one-sided.

There should be nothing wrong with people swapping legendaries to different characters. Legendaries take are extremely long time to gather the materials, plus extreme luck to obtain the actual starter weapon (unless you somehow have 600g laying around).

So I think they should have legendaries as account wide. Although they certainly should still allow people to sell them on the Trading Post too, if they are not bound to the account. Because lets face it, some legendaries, people just don’t want, but would prefer another one.

agreed. Irongut requires complete dumb luck that Irongut does not spam his ability or constantly drink water (both of which he does nearly every turn). Please fix this one. And I did check Dulfy, and used the “Boast” signature move…all it seems to do is set Irongut into a constant loop of calling Bluffs and Spamming his own signature move.

Does the mango pie actually work? I see all my buffs disappear when the mini game starts. And Irongut still feels really buggy. He still keeps his buff even after it is suppose to wear off and in some cases has it right at the beginning of the match, even though there is no buff icon.

Andul Irongut is NOT fixed. I just spent hours trying to beat him and he continues to bug out and spam his “meta” ability and chain abilities – including detecting fake drinks and him bleaching constantly. I do not think this is suppose to be happening. Please fix this buggy NPC.

Obsidian Shards

The obsidian shards are STUPIDLY only sold at the Balthazar Temple. Which of course is never uncontested. Ever. Even when I guest at another server. Balthazar temple is still contested. The event chain to get it is ridiculous because it keeps breaking or bugging out. Moral of the story – make the Obsidian Shards available across all temples and in other vendors (that are as easy to obtain as Karma)

Game freeze on log-out

I am also experiencing this issue. I play on an iMac and a Macbook, so far I have only had a freezing occur on the iMac. It occurred when I was at the character selection screen and hit the “log out” button. I normally select “Exit” from the in-game menu which so far has not given me any problems.

I was making a new toon and noticed that not all the colors in the selection were displaying properly in their color boxes. Yet most, if not all, displayed properly on the actually character. Please fix this.

I second this suggestion. Some of the WvW match-ups are…well they are some choice four letter words. WvW match ups should be addressed. Or allow players on struggling worlds to get a free transfer.

The map can be extremely confusing. There are no lines drawn defining zone ends (or a button to turn such lines on or off). When looking at a map, some areas that appear to have a path with waypoint leading to a new zone actually do not lead to new zones – usually just to a cave or champion. Then there is the issue within the cities. What exactly defines a Door? Or an Instance?

For example, the Charr city is ripe for this. The middle section has 4-5 instances yet there is no clear, obvious graphic explaining that it is interactive. No glitter, no moving parts, no nothing. In fact, the zone going into most of the (Home) instances usually look like a big wall. With nothing to tell you its a door. Have some sort of graphic explaining that it is a door please.

I suggest that achievements should be seen and counted across all characters (with the exception of the world mapping). It is rather ridiculous to be like “oh I did this X number of times on this toon, but have zero proof on another”. For example, why not count WvW kills across all characters? Or the jumping puzzles?

The other suggestion – please make the world mapping achievements more user friendly. Saying I have 162 / 168 areas discovered (and yet have all skills, hearts, etc) does NOT tell me where else I need to go. Only that I missed some obscure, out of the way, unheard of area. Give us a listing of the different zones, areas within the zones, etc.

the battle of claw island is especially annoying (several deaths and checkpoints later). the respawn rate of mobs is too high. and then there is the underwater one in Straits of Dev with no clear obvious paths to reach locations. Give the player some hints. Not just a star on the map that seems to be on the other side of a wall.

I play a ranger, so I use the F1 – F4 keys often. Is there any way of making it so the keys turn on automatically when the game starts? Currently I have to either manually click the icons or use a different short cut key.

Is anyone else experiencing lag and tearing issues when trying to complete a jumping puzzle? Or see their toon make the landing only to fall through the graphic? Some puzzles are fine, but others seem very buggy (like the tree part in Straits of Devastation) and if a player has any lag, the results are irritating. More so, because some of the map completion REQUIRES you to do a jumping puzzle just to reach a vista and/or a skill point.

I agree, the spirits need more health. It is ridiculous to only get it out for the secondary benefit, without allowing it to function for its allies-benefit first function. The thing never lasts longer than 10 seconds, if that. For the length of time it is given, it needs more health. Either a base health amount or have the health level with the ranger. As of right now, spirits are just a very long cast time for their secondary functions.

I have been gathering materials for these two crafting professions – huntsman and leather working – and am discovering that I do not have nearly enough materials to remotely keep up with my level. I tried to see if using the Discovery Tab would help level, only to learn that I didn’t even have enough materials to try and discover more than one or two discoveries before everything was used up.

Suggestion – improve the drop rate for mats of these two professions.

Some fairly simple improvements would be to give players the ability to highlight or know which locations they are missing when exploring a zone. Points of Interest in particular can be difficult to locate – some I have been supposedly standing on top of, yet the game fails to acknowledge this. Then I wonder if it is underground, but when I click the “underground Tyria” on the map the point of interest fades. So, something should be done about that. It can be really frustrating.

Waypoints should not cost anything, or if they do keep them in the copper range.

I also use a Macbook Pro for GW2 and am finding the fps drop considerably during large events and group events.

Game Client crashing when zoning

The other evening I zoned from Caledon Forest to Kessicks Hills (spl?), the load screen took the same amount of time, but instead of seeing a new zone the whole client crashed. The error message I got was “transaction in progress”. Closing and restarting the client did nothing. The login screen would not even appear, much less appear to start. I restarted the whole computer and that fixed the immediate problem.

Anyone else experiencing this?
