Gamemodes are the least of their worries. I hope they add in more in the future, but atm their core mechanics are making the pvp scene less than enjoyable. And we’re still missing features that simpler pvp based games even have.
Agree. Actually what I would like to ask is whether there will be something significant introduced into PvP, instead of just adding one map.
I started playing GW2 since its release, and I play both PvP and PvE but the time spent I would say is sth like 7:3. After playing for a year and seeing there are a lot of new stuffs in PvE (~every 2 weeks), I am ok with that. But when I look at PvP which I spent most of my time in, I would say this is just unacceptable.
I sincerely want to know if arenaNet is going to make some new modes for PvP, e.g. those capture-the-flag or whatever new PvP “mode” (not “map”) ? Or can I assume that Pvp will be remain the same in foreseeable future, say 1 year?
I am not sure if this is the intended result of arenaNet, but this frustrated me. Is this the balancing made to make all class at the same situation after being turned into a moa bird? This sound a bit ridiculous to me everytime when I was turned into that moa, my pet vanished lol.
