Alright here’s the deal with this star : you can see it even if the name itself isn’t visible, meaning you could get spotted behind a wall, or a door …
I’ve started regretting completing the map because of this.
It might not be a huge inconvenience in most cases, but it’s definitely a problem when you’re trying to hide from ennemies. I don’t see how this would be intended either, it shouldn’t be a burden in WvW to have a PvE achievement showing.
I know mesmers also have problems with the star only showing on their character and not on clones. I guess it was a last-minute “hey let’s give these players a little reward”, but it’s more annoying than anything at the moment (at least in WvW).
After watching a video of a thief doing this I tried with my elementalist (Trident – Air 3), and it’s possible to get inside the inner fort if you know where and how to cast the spell.
I kinda want an red answer on this one : is it exploiting ? Is this meant to stay ? I mean, mesmers can already bring an entire army in a fortified fort and it is already widely accepted that the use of portals isn’t exploiting.
Which dungeon
Twilight Arbor
If you are joining through the pop-up dialogue or by walking up to the entry point
Didn’t work for either
How many people in the party tried creating the instance
5
Any other details you can provide
We tried to enter TA in explorable mode, only to have one person per instance, if they could join at all. Most of the time, clicking the “Enter explorable mode (level 55)” would do nothing.
Then we tried everything we could imagine : all 5 of us close our games and launch them again / leave the group and regroup again / both of these / someone else tries to start the dungeon / someone tries to enter it alone and then invite.
But everytime, either no one could even start the dungeon, or someone could enter it but we wouldn’t be able to join him by clicking the join button. We gave up after half an hour of test, pretty disappointed.
