haha i like this
I’m from the NO MOUNTS!!!-camp (mostly because of the “speedbuff” issue) but this sounds pretty fun. I just imagine a bunch of people sitting on one of those packbulls.
Why all the kittening? Replacing a few sipder-models with something else is not that hard for the devs. (Although i agree they got bigger problems at the moment)
I agree. If Anet does anything then it should definitely be banning those accounts. I would not mind some spectacular animation though
@Colonel Kernel: Just discovered fireworks are soulbound so i’m afraid i can’t mail you some
Niiiiiiiiiiiiice! Saw my first bots some days ago and wished i had the means to do sth. about it. This is just perfect! (although i guess bots will adapt to that soon)
I’ll definitley consider a fireworks-donation Colonel
iRL you also don’t rely on appropriate counter-measure skills and blocking does not have a cooldown. :p
I also love this idea. just mirror the darn character :p.
As for PvP: There’s no real need to display your leftieness to other players so your character can appear righthanded to them.
I really don’t get why people have to get used to WASD … it’s like the most standard system of controlling a character. I even used it in GW1 (just feels better).
Why WASD is better: You can move in any direction while controlling the direction your character is looking at. You can’t do that with klick-to-move. But you need to do that to play GW2 properly. (in GW1 you didn’t)
So what happens with klick-to-move? – People who use it will suck. (most of them. Some won’t but i’m talking about average here) People will get frustrated. So better force them to get used to WASD right away.
100g to have +100 people follow you and helping you to get fast karma and gold?
Spaceman, your posts are full of jealousy.
If you don’t like it, too bad for you. It’s helpful for 98% of the other gamers.
Karma and gold! That’s what that whole commander thing is about, yes?
Seriously though – i support the suggestion to be able to toggle off commander icons on the map. So far none of you commanders (especially the butthurt ones totally missing the point) have presented any argument why this option should not be implemented in the game.
Constructiveness: First: give an option to toggle off ALL commanders. Second: give a whitelist where you can add commanders so they’re always shown on the map.
Now – tell me why this is such a bad idea.
