I have the Nvidia control panel and force experience clients, they both say my drivers are up to date. I heard the game uses a lot of CPU power, is an i5 with 2.5ghz not good enough to run the game at best?

Is there some way of doing that without having to download a special tool for it?

I’m playing on an Alienware m14xr2 laptop with 2gb video ram and an nvidia gt 650m graphics card. I can play other MMO’s with 60fps, and virtually any other game (including skyrim) with 40-50fps on MEDIUM settings.

However, after just getting guild wars 2 today, I feel like the game is holding me back, as I get 25-40fps in forrests but less than 20 in cities and instances.

Is there something I should be optimizing?

Also I’m playing on the lowest possible graphics settings.
