My friend Paul’s account was hacked over a week ago and has not heard anything back since then (other than the automated reset page that won’t work if you don’t have the account email).
His ticket numbers are as followes :
120905-006589
120905-005350
His account was stolen, email changed, and then his character was moved from an American server to a French server.

Posting this for him as he has no access to his account/support site.

Which didn’t matter because hackers were able to log in to other users’ accounts without even knowing anyone’s user name or password (just changing a text file let you jump into random people’s accounts).

I understand the frustration and have a friend who hasn’t been able to log in to their account for over a week.. but authenticators don’t solve everything.

Like you state though, the security “model” NCsoft is using is flawed – some minor changes could have avoided this but instead they’re now having to dig out from under a mountain..

you were probably hacked? I would change your password and make sure it is unique to the game.

Check the account/security tab and see if any unrecognized IP’s accessed your account.
