i got a bunch of ideas of not only GEM store items but other areas like weapon skins

first up i’ll talk about my GEM store ideas

1. this idea is why not skins for hunter pets i’m sure it wouldn’t be to hard to implement but you could do skins like the Rock Dogs, Deers, Bulls, even Samoyed

2. Make some unskinable pets like the Hawkeye Griffin or a Teragriff (i’ve wanted a teragriff pet since the story instance} available in the store

3. Why not convert the outfits into full armor sets i love the outfits but i just wish each part was interchangeable

4. My idea for a new face mask or April fool’s day joke googly eyed glasses

5. now this is the last one for this section but why not allow amour skins to be placed over any weight class only skins tho the ones with no stats that you buy in the GEM store they can even have a separate section in the wardrobe.

ok now for ingame stuff

1. I gotta go back to pets for hunters again this time how about making special hard to reach tamable pets in dungeons or hard to reach locations out all around Tyria and make em spawn in different locations, especially in dungeons give us reasons to explore dungions rather then just run through.

2. How about a contest to design weapon skins, each weapon type can be designed for a complete custom made set, the winners of course get a free copy of their designed skin

3. why not make mini pets more then just bling, give them the ability to auto-loot for you

4. How about making dungeons solo-able where you can team up with employable npc’s even if the rewards for each path are cut in half it would give some people more reason to do them like me i have completed like 3 dungeons in the 3 years i been playing gw2 (not including any i repeated for armor skins) because atm i find them uninteresting and not enjoyable, especially seeing as i can spend half an hour in pvp and earn what ever gear or tokens i can be interested in getting their

ok so i got this email saying

and then later down it goes onto say

The stress test is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pacific and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pacific.

To participate in this test:

Prior to the start of the test, make sure your Guild Wars 2 software is up-to-date. You don’t need additional software; you’ll be using the same copy of the game to participate in this test that you use to play every day.
When the test starts, log in to your invited account.
Click the Create Beta Character button.
Create a new human character. (All professions will be available, including the new revenant profession.)
Log in with your beta character to be taken to the beta testing area.

only thing is the email did not include a “invited account” do they send that later like on the day or what i’m confused

i don’t know if i got one ore not the email says i did but whats with the “log into your invited account” the email never gave me any account to use or do you get that later?

I was playing when the latest patch hit, but was unable to update. Now about 10 hours later I still can’t update, or even log in to my client for that matter, due to this message:

“A serious error has occurred that prevents the program from continuing to run. You can help us prevent this error from occurring in the future be reporting it to ArenaNet. Please press the Send button to report this error”

I sent a report. Still can’t log in to my client.

yep i’m haveing this problem as well it did the update then got stuck on the initializing stage then 10 minutes later i got the connection error(s) detected. Retrying… and i had no net drop outs otherwise i couldn’t post this O.o

Did you know that most of the east coast went out of power? This gave me problems when trying to login to games like FFXIV, which have servers in Canada’s east side. Guild Wars 2 seems to have similar problems, at least for me on Devona’s Rest (Since DR should be “US East”)

that could be the reason i’m on Dragonbrand how long ago did the power go out i could log on fine like 10 hours ago

it took me 5 or 6 minutes to spawn into Silverwastes from the character select screen O.o
i hit the first attack (1) and nothing happened i stood their for 5 minutes till the server crashed with the attack icon flashing and takes me back to character select?

i get no lag from youtube, steam or anything else i tried so whats up is GW being ddos again?

i agree full-heartedly i came into this patch expecting similar to last one where you had to grind all the crests i was ok with that as i had 3000 crests already saved up and i spent them on the 2 other sets of leggins and set of boots only to discover by idle chatter that the leggings could be got simply by doing the story 2 more times O.o

A-net could you please tell us this stuff before you waste or our time with pointlessness now if i can even be bothered any more i have to grind another 3000 to 4000 crests 2000 for the boots, 1000 for the ascended ring and 500 to 1000 to try and hope i get the 1 in 4 rng chance of getting the organs O.o

this patch has just left me feeling dirty A-net could you at least increase the drop of crests because this is getting down right boring and for me to say that since i have been paying this game since beta is a big thing

they didn’t come with the story reward and i see no option to buy the box from the badge vendor what gives?

i have had the same problem ever since the new client came with the September feature pack today i have been unable to even do my dailies thanks to this god forsaken error any other mmo i play such as dcuo work perfectly fine so its not my net connection either

heck i can even watch a youtube video at 720p while getting a solid connection to dcuo so how can my net connection be that bad that i cant even get 1 minute in GW2 with out crashing O.o even GW1 runs better

prior to the September feature i had zero dc’s and no an inch of lag

yeah i know this has been around for a while but i only started experiencing it since the new loader was introduced in the September feature pack, before that i got no lag and zero dc’s but now i often log on then as soon as i load a character i’ll get lag till i dc with the error above 5 to 6 times in row before i decide to go play another mmo that runs perfectly fine, it doesn’t happen all the time tho it seems to happen at different times of the day 12am server time is one, another is 7am server time its all over the place?

but as far as i can tell its the new loader they gave us during the September feature pack it cant be anything for me as up till this update i have had a virtually flawless connection to GW2

Basically it really sux and they really need a new way of doing things. They won’t change until every single person quits spending money/gems/gold to buy on the tp. If 90 percent of the players stopped buying keys/crates ect—they would change fast.

I called it the Toronto Maple Leaf business model—they have too have proved if people are dumb enough to sell out everygame and there is a waiting line for seasons tickets—-they just don’t have to change the way they do things and develop a contenter.

thanks to this count me in my the crates have left a seriously bad taste in my mouth i am no longer buying keys or anything on that store bar character slots

With a drop rate like that you have to wonder what the point of creating a dozen or so new skins was — the only thing most players are going to wind up with is buyers remorse.

They’re still buyers; they spent money, which tells Anet that RNG is still successful and should be repeated for more profit.

But for how long?

How long will people put money into RNG, get nothing and come to the forums to tell Anet that selling RNG is wrong?

yeah i’m one of them idiots and i aint doing it no more i bought about 200 of these crates and all i got out of was 2 things “diddly squat” and i aint ever wasteing my munny on that crap ever again

RNG boxes is the only way Anet know how to introduce new skins at the moment. Not sure how they could forget that there are other ways.

it some what feels like a shank in the back to me tho i’m a big spender on their Gem store at least $50 to $100 each pay week i spend because i love this game i spent $200+ on nothing but crates and didn’t get a single Sclerite token O.o

makes think i wont be buying anything on their store for a long time from now

heck i been playing this game since Beta and haven’t even found a precursor but i still try every day i could of put those gems into gold and bought a precursor maybe what i should of done

none the less i still feel like i got shafted for my devotion to this game oh well such is life my next few pays i’ll spend on food lol

so i was wondering how you get these? i have tried the crates by buying about 180 of them on gem store but no luck naturally this disappointing greatly but is their some other way to get them?

the closest i came was the Shark Tooth skin but thats not what i want
