I’m just curious though, since dailies cover so many parts of the game, how exactly do you play the game? How do you pass the time? The only PvE part of the game that isn’t covered by dailies are the dungeons. However, if you compare a person who runs some dungeons over a few hours to someone meandering the word, the dungeon runner’s loot will outweigh the the other person’s.
I am wondering the exact same thing. Dailies are ridiculously easy to get if I try(< 15 minutes), and if I don’t try, I still get them in about an hour.
First off, I want to say I trust anet, I’m really in the same boat as Tobias Trueflight above. Do I agree with all of the changes they have made? No, but more than 75% of the content the have added I love. Do I feel like the game is a bit grindier than what it was touted? Yes, but way way better than other MMOs imo.
Pretty sure the rings you get from the laurel vendor are the exact same rings that drop from the daily chest in fractals, so the answer is you can infuse them. I had so many rings from fractals, that I didn’t have a need to buy one from the laurel vendor so I am not 100% though.
You can’t infuse them unfortunately

Check this Fury…I have no computer access currently, so a little hard for me to find all that is going on, but these are good candidates. I will start searching when I have access again for something new, I am convinced that Taidha event, Zho and the demagogue all drop something uniques, so that is where I will be starting

For the mystic forge one, you should always be forging greens imo and not selling them…I am so far ahead in terms of the coin I could get for 4 greens vs the yellows I get it is ridiculous…I stopped keeping track tbh, you can get ecto of those golds if you play high level areas…if you are not, then most of these dailies look fine to me…they really haven’t changed, seems like they just added some new options
Anyone know the timer for the shadow behemoth event to come on? Also is this considered a world event?
I believe he is on about a 2.5 hour timer, not sure about the world event part
Not sure if ruined, but definitely frustrating to us that had become Final Rest Hunters, just for it to be dropped all over the place in one day…now if two to four popped up because of this patch, fine…but the quantity seems a little crazy to me, especially since I haven’t been able to play since last Friday, so I am feeling left out…
With that said,I only recently found out about this item, but almost all my time for the three weeks I knew about it, i spent searching, can’t imagine how some of you are feeling…

Any update on what has been found since yesterdays update? Final rest was a shadow behemoth item, which seemed very logical, crazy how so many have dropped now. Haven’t had a chance to login myself, but my friend was saying 19 on auction house in less than a day…unreal since seems like 0 since launch…hope the rates don’t get adjusted before I can play again

Are there ANY other items in the game other than Final Rest that we have not yet found? 3M accounts playing for the past 6 months and it hasn’t been seen. Wow!
It does feel like that for sure…but in my opinion, this game hasn’t been out long enough for all secrets to be discovered. I have been getting some good drops while searching so far, so I can’t complain…yet
We should all be on the same world and have just massive Final Rest zerg’s running around
I actually got 3 rares on just 1 Shadow Behemoth event yesterday if it means anything. I couldn’t believe it as I don’t think that has ever happened to me on any chest before.
About the Large Chest, could also be “Large Boss” Chest, meaning something like Shadow Behemoth. I think this was stated somewhere before, but I find it funny
It has ‘almost’ been confirmed that chests don’t necessarily share loot tables. Example Tequatl – sorry for the spelling.
So again I beg an Anet dev to clarify what other devs have publicly said in response to the question about the staff.
oh I didnt realize that, thank you for pointing it out to me. I will continue on my Zho’Qafa events for sure now.
For some reason Zho’Qafa doesn’t match up for me because the chest is a glorious chest and I would think that shares loot table with the other glorious chests in the game. I could be totally off on this as I realize the lore piece makes a lot of sense and I normally never see people there, so I will continue to do the events.
I am going to be on looking today at about 5 eastern if anyone wants to group and guest to my world(Ehmry Bay), or vice versa. I am really interested in exploring the Flame Temple Tombs as have only done it once. I could also see it being the Shadow Behemoth as there just seems to be something to that. Anyways, if you want to group up, please ping me in game and I would be happy to guest over to your world.
mini dungeon
I think mini dungeon myself, I haven’t been searching long, but after reading through everyone’s ideas and trials it seems to be the best idea. I didn’t even know mini dungeons were a thing until I started searching through my achievements for more things to do, so I could see a lot of people being naive like me.

also having problems with this on both my guardian and warrior with necro and engineer friend
EDIT: had a lot more luck using greatsword on guardian, got 3 combos in like 5 mins, vs 7 in about an hour with staff/hammer on guard or GS/longbow on warrior
