As livid as I am (because I experienced the same mishap) I wonder how, if at all, ArenaNet will go about fixing this. It just seems very improbable that they’ll make an attempt to fix it as there were people who disconnected before the Ancient Karka was defeated (as I did), after it was defeated, and everywhere in-between.
How exactly will they be able to distinguish who suffered the loss and who didn’t? That is, if they even try to, which I personally think they should; many people are left disappointed after all.

Same happened here, I’m very disappointed, not to mention livid beyond belief to the point of having to restrain myself from swearing profusely on here.
Ancient Karka had a sliver of health left, and bam. Get back in and the event is over. Tried logging in multiple times trying to access different overflows in the hopes that it wasn’t over in one of them; no luck.

This happened to me as well. Sliver of health left on the Ancient Karka and BAM. I am livid beyond belief as I am restraining myself from swearing furiously on here.
