I love to craft at the Grove with my main sylvari. However, the crafting site at the Grove is dull. Not enough visuals showing the uniqueness of sylvari unlike the other cities, especially Divinity’s Reach and Rata Sum.

An example, the chef crafting site is very simple. Full of stoves while the benches and shelves are empty, showing no display of fruits, meats, dairies and others on site.

It would be nice to make the crafting site at the Grove more appealing and shows more characters that represents the sylvari plant-likeness. This is just a minor gripes, non-issue and just a suggestion and I’m not expecting ArenaNet to work on it.

I feel bad for the IoJ people that are left. The ones that bailed were mostly the ones that continuously talked about how hard core the players were and how much server pride they had. Those types of personalities usually rank very low on my list.

Think of it this way though, the people that are left truly do care. You are lucky to weed out anything bad now. We had the same happen at CD when SoR and SoS roflstomped us. Since then we have slowly recovered and have a decent WvW population that is here to stay. That is invaluable. The ones you gain from now on are going to be there for the long haul.

The deal with why our dedicated WvW guilds left IoJ is because we had enough of the constant losses that it had reached to its breaking point. For the past several weeks, IoJ had managed to control only two borderlands (IoJ border and EBG) at a time and even with two borderlands on our hands, if we even bother to try to invade third border, we had risks of losing our own borderland as we don’t have enough people.

Some guilds tried to recruit our very own server to come and assist us in WvW, even one guild dared to reached out to other servers and recruit for IoJ but not fruitful enough. Some of our active WvW players even offered to teach those who are new to WvW but the response we get from IoJ are very low. Most of us are tired already, we’ve been burned out so many times but yet we still remain in IoJ up till now.

If server lockdown is delayed after the WvW upcoming updates in February, some of those guild might still be staying at IoJ. Perhaps the February updates will entice IoJ PvE players if the rewards for WvW are appealing to them.

I did experience first hand thief killing Dolyak and even with two players escorting being killed in less than 10 seconds. We tried to kill the thief but their almost unlimited stealth made things harder and with their sudden bursts of damage, we don’t have time to react with CC and all.
