I suggest that users be given a warning prompt when they make changes to the guild roster that will transfer their guild leadership status to another member. I was messing around with my guild’s guild ranking system and accidentally demoted myself. Yes, I know, it was a noobish thing to do, and it’s my own fault. However, I don’t think I’m the first person to have done this, and it could have easily been prevented with a warning prompt; for example, “WARNING: If you select these changes, you will no longer be the leader of this guild, and you will be demoted to the position of officer. Are you sure you wish to proceed? [Yes] [No]”
I know this seems like a petty issue, but I’ve invested a lot of time in developing my guild, and it bothers me that I could lose everything I’ve worked for over a simple mistake, without any warning or way to undo my mistake (besides politely asking my guild’s second in command to transfer leadership back to me). I realize there are more important issues for the dev team to address, especially with the upcoming server maintenance and all, but it is a feature I would like to see included in one of the future updates. In fact, users should be prompted any time they are about to make permanent and/or expensive changes to their guilds and/or characters, just to help avoid potential user errors that could drastically affect their overall gaming experience.
Just a suggestion.
