If you’ve experienced this bug I’m interested in what state your character/account was in just prior. Specifically, had you recently transferred or guested? Had you encountered any party, guild, or chat weirdness recently?

This just happened to me. I’m on Yak’s Bend and was trying to enter Yak’s Bend (Red) Borderlands. I appeared in the middle of a borderlands where the matchup was Fort Aspenwood, Gate of Madness, and Jade Quarry.
I appeared on the island in the middle of the lake. A few others from Yak’s Bend appeared there with me including another person from my guild. All waypoints on the map were contested and I couldn’t enter any towers or keeps. All players appeared friendly to me. I saw Gate of Madness Defenders and Jade Quarry Defenders, but I don’t know if they could see me. I saw a named player near the entrance to the red keep, but don’t know if that was one of us from Yak’s or if it was a Fort Aspenwood player. The only person who responded to me in map chat was also from Yak’s Bend. The scoreboard was identical to what I’d see when hitting ‘B’ while in Overflow, so no servers or scores where shown.
Relogging and re-entering WvW solved the problem for me and for the other guildmate.
I had previously logged out in Lion’s Arch, most likely in Overflow. I’ve never transferred servers or guested on another server. I had been in a party before I logged out last night, but left the party before logout. The incident happened about a minute after I logged on (was in Lion’s Arch, non-Overflow) and I was not in a party.
