Tried logging in this evening and I get stuck at the launcher. The only way I can get out of this is with task manager forcing gw2 closed. Its stuck at the “downloading 0 kbs” part. Anyone seen this before and/or know of a fix?

I have the same problem now after trying to log in. Using Win7 64bit. I’ve been playing for some time now and never had this problem before. The Game advisor doesn’t work either, after clicking “Test computer and connection”, it just sits at “Testing: DirectX” and does nothing.

What in everyone’s opinion are the 2 best pets to use for PVE mostly? I usually use one tank-like and one ranged. What’s is optimal do you think for the beginning, middle and at lvl 80?
