I am a dungeon kitten. I’ll admit it. I am currently trying to do find a simpler way to find groups for these fantastic dungeons. I have done alittle research and found that Gw2 does have one in in the contacts tab. I changed it to LFG and got… nothing? Is there something else I am missing or is it just that. Is there a place (besides map/guild chat) where I can put what dungeon/event/rp I am looking for? Is there anything like the “Party Search” window from gw1 in here somewhere?
If any of you guys can explain this to me it would be much appreciated.

Your gonna have to explain your points because I am sure many people would love to rip them to shreds.
A couple days ago, I did AC Exp on my warrior. Now, I’ve done 1 path of AC before and knew kinda what worked and what doesn’t. My group was 2 Rangers (1 pure melee and 1 pure ranged) a Greatsword Guardian a Dual Dagger Theif and Me (Sword and Board Signet Warrior). We utterly destroyed this dungeon. We had 1 death from being knocked off a cliff. It was fast and clean and I really didn’t expect us to finish with the party set up.
I re ran it with a different after this one was 2 Guardians(Greatsword 1 and Mace/Shield the other) 1 Ranger(Longbow) 1 Mesmer(Staff control heavy) and Me. For some reason we just kept wiping over and over again. I was doing the same path as my previous run. I was pretty familiar with the most efficient methods. I’m gonna blame it on this. Some people just don’t dodge, or move at all for that matter. We can cast and move for reason. Even as a warrior I am never “just standing there and taking damage”. Sure I’m specced heavy into defense but, not taking any damage at all is better.
My only advice for dungeon is to Keep Yourkitten Moving!
My current guild is absrudly small (no one wants to join a guild called Freelance Murder Hobos and change it to Dragon Extermination Squad). So, this will be the last event before I create a new guild with a less “stupid” name to get more member.
ANYWAYS. yes yes I don’t expect a huge turn-out. Totally honest I only expect 7-15 max. If more show up awesome. Also, I don’t expect you guys to have a professionally written story by no means. Just casual people telling their stories and what not. If you want to talk to me. I’ll be on “Chug Looverstum” in LA from ~5-7 spamming/getting ready for the event. Feel free to chat with me while waiting.

A couple details!
-Telling a Story is not required though the more story tellers the better!
-Please please have the story PG-13 and Lore appropriate
-If you have any questions at all feel free to leave me an in-game mail and I will get back to you as soon as possible

Not exactly the answer I was looking for. I’m used to the Rift forums. Seperated by server with a section label events. I’m not looking for anything guild related. I’m trying to find the spot where it would be best to basically say. “Hey, Me and my friends are gonna tell storys around a campfire. Anyone who wants to come is welcome.” I don’t believe just cause my guild is sponsoring it means it should be thrown into the pool of jumbled server chaos that is forum guild recruiting.
