Oh no sorry. the old installer is working. the one you download from your account page is not. but it doesn’t matter the client is being installed from the older installer now.

Kk no luck with that. i will just stick to this other installer. very strange and annoying but oh well.

i did actually try that but not a fresh copy. Hmm ill give it a go. at least there will be an answer for the future.

kk ive found an older installer which is running okay at the moment. and now its downloading the client woo. silly new installer . kk cheers for your help and im sorry i wasted your time ;(

Nope. i downloaded the 21mb file from my account page. when i load the file up it just gives me the message everytime.

oh no iv’e not overclocked anything.

the only log was the ‘Install Cannot be completed. please contact customer services’

Ahh yes a few things. i unistalled this off my pc like 3 months ago. i have looked around for old folders which may be effecting this but there is nothing.

I keep getting this message when I try and run the installer.

I run it as administrator.
iv’e turned of UAC.
iv’e turned my anti-virus off and firewall.
iv’e installed the latest graphics drivers.
Iv’e checked windows 8 for updates.
Iv’e done the diagnostic with the -diag and it all passes.
Iv’e tried running on XP.

Iv’e also checked the forum, typing in install and it says nothing found.

Any help would be amazing.
