Just adding some volume to this issue.

Please either re-enable these commands for both left and right shift, or at least make them bindable. You’re actively hurting a large, and frequently ignored portion of your playerbase with this change.

This is what I was trying to convey but can never get the words to come out in the right order.

I’d prefer it if ANet set it up so we could choose which side of the keyboard worked as a control, which worked as keys and I always prefer that they give us a heads up about changes that affect inputs.

The option to choose which side of the keyboard would be great as a remap under options without being forced to use some 3rd party program to do so.

maybe “game breaking” was a little direct but that’s how it feels from my side of the keyboard.

This is a game breaking function for left handed players. We Map/Bind our Game Key’s to the Right Side of the Keyboard. We normally use Cursor Key’s to move around, by taking away the Shift/CTRL/ALT from that side of the keyboard, we are forced to cross our arm in front of us causing discomfort, RSI is not something I want from this game. Please give us the option to change which side of the keyboard we can have those keys active on so we can use them without the discomfort.

If you take a look into the Pool of Lava where the wurm protrudes from, you’ll notice a Rocky platform, this is where I stand with my Necromancer, as it brings me closer to the fight.

I did not find it a joke, I found it rewarding. I became rich in the knowledge and satisfaction of achieving something I have never had in this game ever, a pre-cursor, sure it took a little time to make it, but I had fun in doing so, regardless of the fact I could have brought it off the TP and saved time and coin, however in doing it that way, I would have lost the feeling of accomplishment. I’m proud to have what I crafted Kudzu.

Teleport to Friend Stones also Void the Checkpoints. forcing you to start again. not a big issue for me. I really like that puzzle.

I discovered that closing the game and re-launching it, gets rid of the issue for me. I have yet to close other protection protocol’s or Firefox because of the game. security is still strong here. therefore the fault lies within the last 2 patches to the game. just thought I’d mention my findings.
