Yes the event stayed at 1/3 for the following hour that I stayed on the map. In the screenshots where the player is on the final platform will show the event progress being anywhere else will only show the boss HP bar. Screenshot shows event status about 30 seconds after the kill.

It looks like if you kill him before you stun him 3/3 on a burn phase it bugs out.

I have seen nothing but an improvement in my ability to see enemies after this culling trial. I much prefer this new system to the old.
