I don’t understand 2v1 talk. It’s a 3 way battle, there’s always gonna be 2 servers attacking you at almost anytime.

If this happens past your prime time, surely you see that if you’re smaller in numbers you become the natural target for capping points? Who wants to go through hours of fights and wipes just to secure something that is so well defended?

?_? please stop accusing people of 2v1, that’s just stupid.

To add to, and clear this up a little:

1) Over the past few weeks it has appeared that TC and FA are leaving each other alone to concentrate on DB.
2) This has been confirmed to be PURELY COINCIDENCE by one of FA’s main ex-guild leaders (who did a great job in EB last night, btw)- there is no official alliance between TC and FA.
3) Unofficial alliances, however, are part of WvW. If we want to push a particular server, we usually force the 3rd server to stop attacking us – hence, unofficial alliance. That’s probably all that is happening.

Tacking on as well:

Everybody that claims a 2v1 is occurring is forgetting one very important fact: Your server is not good enough to overcome an actual legitimate 2v1. You would need to replicate Kaineng’s post-bandwagon population dominance in Tiers 8-5 or so in order to overcome this much alleged 2v1 collusion and frankly the WvW servers cannot support one server fielding that amount of people.

Additionally every claim of a 2v1 speaks poorly of that individual’s understanding of how this WvW thing works. If two forces are engaging each other (trying to take a keep or something) you have a window to go and take an objective nearly unopposed. No matter which objective you go and take the owner of that objective is able to perceive what occurred as a 2v1.

Plus TC and FA hate each other. No way our guilds would bury the past ~3 months of contests and forum posts (or the ~2 months of contests late last year) just because DB won some matches.

I don’t think the average FA player much cares if our opposition respects us.

I also don’t think the average FA player much cares if, after one week, the score says we’re in first or not. The truth is for about five and a half weeks this match up was what all WvW match ups should be- it was close and competitive. Sure TC took home some victories, and Kaineng took home some victories, and Fort Aspenwood got to take home “also ran” ribbons, but from week to week the outcome wasn’t set in stone and it always seemed like one server kicking it into high gear for one 24 hour period was all it’d take for them to overtake the opposition.

Then TC got transfers, and Kaineng got some people hopping off early on what looks like the last stop of it’s meteoric rise. Now this tier isn’t the most balanced and competitive.

Sure maybe FA could get the geeks out to develop and assign duties via work breakdown structures to maximize our ability to hold down and upgrade important structures and if we stuck to it for the rest of the week we could take second in this match up, but by slightly more points than our current trajectory predicts, but I don’t think FA is paying anybody enough to bother with that.

We won this tier with our skill and not our numbers because we won it two weeks ago with inferior coverage to both Kaineng and FA. Yes, some of our key players had to play unhealthy hours (one commander still burnt out) but we did do it. So you can take all this unskilled garbage somewhere else.

The fact has always been that since kitten the IoJ guilds they have had superior coverage to us for AGES until recently (when we got the CD guilds) and yet they were only able to beat us once. There are many reasons for this;

- Your fair-weathers dissapear more easily; you dont do enough things to retain your PVE crowd (because obviously they suck and FA should only consist of awesome 1337 pvpers).

- Your understanding of the overall meta and PPT is god awful. Yes, this is a big part of strategy and skill. So. many. of. your. top. guilds play for such short-term goals not realizing what the consequences are going to be for attacking said targets and said borderlands 3 hours down the line. (Very bad for your oceanic/sea)

- There seems to be more of a inter guild competition on whose got the bigger kitten in FA (Hello BT and VK) than one that focuses on coordination (like TC and KA). Instead of having a meeting a week or emphasizing working together it seems its more ‘on the spot’ coordination. “Hey you guys are on this map!? We are too!?! Lets do this and this” – Like I said very short term.

Of course TC play for the PPT its how WvWvW is meant to be played. We don’t pretend to be a server whose personality is atypical to a 15 year old teenager going through a non-conformist rebellious stunt against their parents (ANET).

You should work on some of those things I posted above or you could pay for my transfer cost and listen to my advise like the word of god and I will fix ya server up and teach you how to win T2.

This is why us veterans of FA harbor so little respect for this incarnation of TC- you’re a server that used to have an admirable outlook- the ever humble TC militias! No large mega guilds fielding mega zergs just regular players banding together to get it done! Now you’ve become this over gorged self gratifying monstrosity. You don’t have anything figured out that FA or Kaineng (or any server above Tier 4) doesn’t know. You’re not out there crushing everything FA or Kaineng attempts due to some grand strategy. You have better coverage- that is not due to a lack of competence on FA or Kaineng’s part. Yet you’re here gloating as if you could provide tutelage to our WvW communities?

Sometime between this past December and now, TC sold it’s soul. Maybe Arena Net made them do it; but it’s done.
