One of my biggest gripes with MMOs that you have no way, besides certain hair dress changes in some MMOs, to change your appearance after character creation.

It is a one time decision you make at the very beginning of your character and after investing many many hours on your character you might get the realisation that you wish you had created your character slightly different.

You can ofcourse re-create your character but all the hours you invested would then go to waste.
With the Gem system in place it would be great if we could alter our characters appearance for a Gem cost…I know many would love this feature to be introduced.

For example I absolutely adore my Charr Warrior but after getting some higher level armor I wish I had made my Charr sligthly bulkier as this makes the armor look a bit better….I did not realise this at the very start when I created my character.
