Guild Wars 2

So im new to ANY MMORPG.
I tryed to play WoW, didnt like it.
I find it very hard , to get into a MMORPG.

So, right now im a Norn, and a Elemantist or something :P
Im in the beginners city.
Do you guys, got any tips what i need to do? or where i need to go?
I never played GW 1 tho.

How do i see when i level up?

If i level up, am i going to hit higher, and get new spells? im a Mesmer

Do i get more spells as i level?

Hi.

I just bought GW2.

I just started playing, just done the beginning, where you need to help some NPC’s. and then that big monster came, and when you killed it it exploded..

But is the game everytime, like when you done a quest, you get another one, and another one?

And am i playing online all the time??

Can’t i just play, and do some things i want to do myself??
