I have been having this issue as well. It is driving me crazy since I have every other item needed for the Treasure Hunter achievement.

Anet needs to fix this immediately, or provide some other way to get Scholar Breandan to sell items or at least find another way to get players the Orrian Pearl.

They have created a choke point and made this achievement impossible to get, which is just terrible from both a player and a dev aspect.

It would also be appreciated, since this is far from the first time or place I have seen this brought up, that they actually address it, to at least let players know they will fix it and provide some reasonable time frame, even if it is just to say “summer” or something like that.

Scholar Breandan is nowhere to be found, and it seems connected to the fact that his missions involving killing risen sea creatures are bugged and can never be completed The risen replicators on a mission tied to him can not be targeted, highlighted, and just seem to register as landscape. though they continue to spawn enemies.

Unfortunately Scholar Breandan is the only way to get the Orrian Pearl which is needed to complete the Treasure Hunter achieve.

I am told the there are iterations of the map that he functions on but in 2 days of trying I have yet to find one.

Hopefully something can be done so players working on this achievement can advance again.
