Maybe they’ll have mounts in the next expansion. Anet’s missing out on real world funds from customers who’d buy an expansion filled with horses and other types of mounts, whether the mounts were achievable via game play or in the Gem Store. The re-skinning potential would be immense, and a continuing source of income.

They’d also fulfill a type of content role in the sense that new collection achievements could be tied to them, just as there are achievements associated with collecting armors, mini’s, weapons, etc.

(I’m neutral on the subject of adding them to the game, but I’m surprised they haven’t been due to the income implications.)

Work-around for rendering glitch on sylvari wedding dress: Make sure you have the helm/headpiece enabled. This should fix the rendering problem, at least until a permanent fix by the devs.

For those with visual defect on sylvari wedding dress, I discovered on my sylvari that the defect occurred only when the helm was “turned off” (disabled.) When the helm was “turned on” (enabled), the defect did not appear. Not sure if this will work with anyone else, but it’s worth checking as a possible work-around until permanently fixed.

Just completed the monthly achievement and did not get credit, nor the normal reward of laurels/karma etc. It appears to be bugged.

Correction: It may not be bugged after all. Rewards may have passed through directly to wallet.

85 achievement points down:

Slayer Types, 5 points each: Drake, Spider, Indiscriminate, Bandit, Dredge, Elemental, Ghost Buster, Grawl, Flame Legion, Inquest’s Bane, Pirate Slayer, Skritt Slayer, Sons of Svanir’s Bane, Wurm Slayer, Zhaitan’s Bane. Shell and Insect completed, but not affected.
