Windows 8.1 update 1 crashes my computer...

So every time I boot my computer explorer.exe crashes and I cannot run anything. Sometimes I can open Google Chrome and that will run, but my guess is because it is independent of Microsoft. I booted into safe mode and I got the message “explorer.exe Application error – Instruction at 0×3919640c referenced at memory 0×3919640c. The memory could not be written.”
Please help me its been 3 days

I managed to get it to work on my laptop, I think it was too hot where I was using it XD
But still no luck on the desktop

Update your graphic drivers it works! Thanks guys.

This is happening to me right now, on my desktop. Open the client then it instantly minimizes to a blank screen.

I was using my desktop 4 days ago and it worked fine, today nothing!
Ive done the repair thing and it did absolute zilch :S

This is the exact thing I’m having. Even the repair thing goes *poof

So, every time that I have tried to open the game client in the past two months has led to nothing but my frustration. The game client pops up – you know like it does before it opens the login and password and download progress bar and things – and then disappears, whilst my computer shows that it is open.
I am very unfortunately running Win8.
Please help i’ve tried everything on the support page…
