I remember spawning in one of those jail cells, but it wasn’t from going to the Ideas Incubation Lab.
Me and a couple of friends were trying to slide down one of the sides of Rata Sum to see if it’s possible to get to the bottom without dieing, (It isn’t, there’s an invisible wall over the water) after I died a few times on the way down I tried to re-spawn at the waypoint, but instead I was put in a jail cell. I had to use the waypoint to get out again, but it was pretty funny.
Hopefully they’ll fix the Ideas Incubation Lab, but still put people in jail for sliding down the sides of Rata Sum. There’s probably a lot of bodies piling up in the lake at the bottom, and I wouldn’t want to be the one to clean them out…

They’ve patched the the restoration bug, now it really is impossible. I wish I could cheat like the AI does, but I’d probably get banned.

I’m guessing just about everyone who’s played this game knows what the Asura gates are designed from, but just in case there’s someone here who doesn’t, they’re all Stargates but have a purple event horizon instead of blue, only 6 chevrons instead of 9 and the ring constantly spins instead of just when someone dials another gate, they also don’t have consoles. It’s pretty obvious unless you haven’t seen Stargate.

This happened to me twice with a Human male elementalist and a Norn male Guardian. I created the characters but it accepted the name making it impossible to choose the same name again. It didn’t create the character though, it worked the next time I made the human elementalist though.

Yeah, sorry, I only started playing yesterday. I can’t remember the proper names of the Norn or the Sylvari properly. I have no idea why I can’t remember the spelling of Sylvari, but Norn is pretty easy to mix up with Nord.

I just tried to create a Nord character and couldn’t think of a name, so I thought I’d keyboard mash a few times to see if there’s a combination of letters I like, after about 3 times it came up with ‘This Is Not A Game’ and scared the hell out of me. Is this in the game or just luck, because I just jumped out of my skin.
