Hi, I just wanted to mention that I’m a necromancer, and when I did this quest, I had the scabbard in hand, then underwater, I changed into a virulent cloud. Then my scabbard was gone, and what I had in the skillbar were the virulent cloud skills only.
But when I didn’t change into a cloud, I was able to successfully complete the quest with no further issues
