I’d say ranger is the easiest class ever, but maybe it’s because I play one. Your pet does a lot of the work for you. In PvE, if you use tanky pets, such as bears, they almost never die, and they keep the mobs away from you. In PvP, they’re also quite helpful, but they usually take the credit for your kills. People tend to ignore your pets and go straight for you, even if the pet is dealing more damage.
I didn’t have any problems with the Norn starting zone. Didn’t die once. The events, hearts, and other tasks were easy in general.
The Charr starting zone was quite hazardous. There was a little cavern with a skill point inside. It was guarded by fire imps. I nearly died from their fireballs. There was also a very challenging flame effigy event. Anything that has to do with fire is pretty OP in this game.
I remember when kids that age used to play outside. Good times. I’d get her something more age appropriate, like Pokemon. GW2 is for teens and older people. This game can be very frustrating at times. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids, because they’re more prone to temper tantrums.
I’ve also been getting tons of cooking ingredients from those bags, as of the latest patch. I have no interest in being a chef, so they’re useless to me. I used to get lots of useful stuff, like leather, cotton, and materials for crafting insignias. Yet another update to prevent people from leveling efficiently. At least they didn’t ban anyone this time.
