Just imagine how awesome this thread would be if we had a 4 server match-up!
You won that? you got farmed for 3 hours because we wanted your bags not because we wanted your Garri, but whatever makes you feel better about it.
Ye and that’s why u kept killing our lord. Good one.
I wasn’t there, but lords drop better bags than players now!
This match-up has been done so many times, it seems people have mostly stopped even trolling the thread. Not too long ago, these threads were 10 pages by the end of the weekend.
LOL. People are already calling implosion again? I guess if you predict it every time, you will eventually be right.
If the other materials that come out of bags didn’t sell so well, I would just vendor bags instead of wasting time to open the bags then vendor the 50ish or more percent that resulted in leather or silk.
First, I want to say that I am not singling out Fuzzionx. This is just something I have been seeing come up a fair amount lately. I don’t understand why a lot of people seem to say that because they’ve played DAoC at some point, they can use it as some sort of supporting evidence for their opinion or argument? Other than the underlying premise of wvw being always on, and the fact that there are 3 sides to the conflict (finally another game offered this), the games are radically different. There are no AOE crowd control, no real dedicated healers in the same capacity, no PBAOE damage spells to mention, no bonus to having multiple people on rams, and no real tools for or reason to zerg bust. There are also additional siege, a resource to control other than gold for repairs and siege, and multiple buildings per map to contain relics (should they ever be brought back). Those are just a few of the major differences, which from my observations, lead to completely different tactics.
One thing I have not been able to find about the MF is if armor type matters for the outcome. I assume it works such that I need 4 cloth shoulders to get a cloth shoulder piece back, but I am not certain. If it does work that way, it does raise the question to me of what happens if I have a mix of cloth/leather/metal pieces? Does it randomly generate any armor slot/type, or does it stick to gloves for example and just random the material of the armor?
Since server transfers seem to influence W3 so greatly in a negative way, I have to agree with the above posters that stated rewarding an individual’s contributions to the server on which they play is the way to go.
I would think an achievement tab similar to the daily and monthly activities could be added for W3 activities as well and provide a reward in line with the effort to complete the activities. Maybe you would get some silver and XP, as well as X number of badges and a choice of some siege plans or something.
Another idea that would be an extension of something I read above for having the top contributors recognized would be maybe a special title awarded to the top X players of a specific activity. Maybe the guy that walks the most supplies between camps and keeps gets to be a ‘Ram Master’ for the next week, and that title might be visible to opposing factions.
What’s with all of the Blackgate hate recently?
