Conditions. Try it out before they nerf it because its a lot of fun. Get some perplexity runes too before they nerf those and have some fun with them. Tanky S/S and longbow build is pretty amazing and devastating if played right.

do knights with soldier runes for tanky?
what set for condition build? carrion? dire? shaman? rampagers?

I have 3 sets of gear on my warrior. A berserker(scholars) set, and Knights(pack) set (for wvw) and I had MF set. with the new patch I have to change the third set but not sure what to change it into.

I would like to do dungeons, fractals and if not a beefy tanky wvw set. Is there a set that all warriors need that I may be missing? Which set do you guys think?

On my system it was definitely the Windows 8 32 bit that was causing my crashes. After reinstalling the 64 bit versions crashes stopped. I played in wvw for 3 hours with no crashes on full graphics. (some lag due to using really old drivers 302.xx)

I updated graphics drivers but when I uninstalled 3d vision my monitor started turing on and off indefinetly. So I reinstall drivers with 3d vision on this time and I still have the glitch. is 310.xx no working in windows 8?

EDIT: fixed it. had to do a windows restore.

I want to thank you both. Both of you gave me some great info. It took me 2 hours just to find my product key and figure out how to get windows 8 64 installed over 32 bit, but I finally figured it out. I am currently installing 64bit as we speak. On the GW2 support thread I did see that 32 bit does have a tendency to crash on bigger ram systems. I always wanted to upgrade to 64bit anyways.

Hopefully I don’t have a video card issue. I do need to figure out how to tell how hot my card is getting. I have MSI but I couldn’t find any temperature settings there.

Everytime I play GW2 after a while, my map will go yellow and even some models will go yellow, then the game will crash. If i see my map go yellow i know it will crash at a load screen. The game is slightly more stable in windowed but it still crashes alot. The crashes are more frequent during load screens.

I didn’t have the problems when i was in Windows 7 but i just recently upgraded OS to 8 and upgraded from nvidia 240s to nvidia 550 ti.

I upgraded my nvidia drivers to most up to date drivers.

Hi guys, not sure if I need a support ticket for this.

Today I tried buying gems to get some Black Lion Salvage Kits. I choose 800 gems – $10 option, put in my credit card number/info and then hit next/continue. I then got a screen saying “Banned_Master_Account” (see attached file)

Not sure what this means. I know that back when game launched I got hacked and the hacker charged $150 in the gem store purchases and since the account couldn’t be rolled back. The gems were never returned, and I had to fight it with my credit card.

I was told that the gems could not be removed from my account. Now I want to purchase more gems but it seems I am not allowed too. I really don’t think I should be penalized for something a hacker did?

You will see in the ticket that I reported the gem purchases and was upfront about it.

Can you help get my master account unbanned so I can happily spend some of my hard earned cash with you guys.

I didn’t think it sounded grouchy, and i usually think everything sounds grouchy or negative.

I have same problems. I thought it was windows 8 cause it didnt happen in windows 7. but I crash alot. can’t do fractals due to fact that i crash every third wing.

did we just get trolled by Anet?
