Hello! Made a Engineer after i got the idea for it. Going get flame/troll here, I love my build so go ahead.
So to do this build you have to be a Sylvari, sorry cause of the elite skill Take Roots and seed turret. I am Pistol/shield user Condition/Precision/Toughness. Count the damage from me/turrets do pretty decent. Turrets die fast and they actually save my life number of times from getting killed.
Its a 0/30/30/0/10, Firearms: Hair Trigger, Rifled Barrels, and Coated Bullets.
Inventions: Metal Plating, Reinforced Shield, and Rifled Turret Barrels.
Tools: Deployable Turrets.
Utility: Healing Turret, Rifle Turret, Rocket Turret, Seed Turret, and Take Root.
Healing Turret: Used it when Hp low ofcourse but after I get the Regen buff I repick it back up. No need to keep it out longer than that.
Rifle and Rocket Turret: With the range increase from Trait. I like to place them on the wall or corners of the area, in WvW the same in open areas though, i will put them next to trees and rocks. You wouldn’t believe i seen player just turn and attack my turret while getting hit still and die for it.
Seed Turret: Everyone here can say it Sucks, So ok not really 60 sec cooldown and 30 sec duration. Ok that kind of sucks, But in return it Seeds hits in a aoe and applys bleeding. I know doesn’t stack when my stats. But its a turret and i like it. Now what i really like it for is it Toolbelt Skill which does damage and Knockdown. and Unlike other turrets i can use it when my turret is out and it helps so much.
Take Root: Sweet Skill 5 Different Turrets come out, maybe two become the same. just like Seed turret has a set duration. i don’t mind it, the Supply Crate good but i only see it for the stun and if it on a boss with pbaoe the turrets from it are gone. Not to mention Take Root is a 150 sec Cooldown.
For Sigils: Superior Sigil of Earth and Corruption. Trying to Reach Condition Cap if i can.
Runes: All Undead cause have alot of toughness.
Trinkets: 2x Plague, 2x Torture Root, and Colossus Fang. Looking on getting my Acension Ones later.
Ending though: Not so great in FotM, But in dungeons and WvW works great i love it. Its my Playstyle and if there some input i can get to make it little better i take it, but I know not the best build this isn’t a Best build thread, Just sharing my Playstyle build.

Hello, I love necromancer sent GW1. So at level 80 necro I don’t see a problem with minion IA or pathing problem. I am 30/0/20/20/0 staff user no weapon switch. Staff too good to switch out of, My slots are Blood fiend, Signet of Locust(speed+extra healing), shadow fiend, bone fiend, and flesh golem.
If I happen to see this so called Not attacking problem its a real easy fix, i continue to use flesh golem charge and shadow fiend teleport blind to keep them going so i don’t see them not attacking.
For Runes I will use 6 Dolyuks(sorry can’t spell it). All gear berserker including trinkets. For the Staff Sigil of Fire for the extra AoE Dmg.
I found the work around with this so called AI and pathing, I love Necromancer and will never stop. Good luck all, PS I am full Pve Dungeon user with this build and no wvw or pvp i do with it rather do thoses thing on my warrior or guardian!
