Steam Legion [PUNK] has been going through some changes recently. With the release of new games piquing the interest of our members we have evolved into a gaming community. We have resolved therefore to stick to our tradition of a close gaming brotherhood yet change some key things to allow for easy transition for players to go between games without losing that important closeness Steam Legion brings. Using the Enjin system at steamlegion.net we have allowed for guild members to register their account through various games and join in Mumble directly from our website into various channels for each game.

Plainsman and myself are the active WvW commanders of Steam Legion and are in desperate need of new soldiers. Lately WvW activity averages in at around 10 of us PUNKs and sometimes even lower. We would like to get back in the trend of having a decent fighting force during server reset and scheduled WvW times.

That being said, I joined Steam Legion shortly after GW2 released and it is easily the best guild I have been in. Everyone treats each other with respect, yet there is much hilarity and closeness. Steam Legion is an adult guild as we discuss not only games but topics from all areas of life so minors aren’t recommended.

There should be an achievement tab specific to Commanders that unlocks the ‘Commander’ title. Once you have the ‘Commander’ title unlocked a Commander’s Compendium will be available to purchase for 500 Badges of Honor and 100 gold.

Keeps captured: 0/20

Large scale battle participation: 0/100 (Keeps track of each individual instance of orange swords you have participated in)
WvW Events Completed Per Hour: 0/25

Just a rough idea but it would motivate people to earn their commander tag and stop people from QQ’ing about having people dedicated enough to spend 100g on one.

My idea would be a heavy armor wearing gaelic druid type of profession. They would be able to use a longbow, shortbow, scepter, staff, axes in both hands, greatsword, maces in both hands, focus, trident, and spear. Their skills would be nature, battle, and life themed. This would even out the current heavy armor balance of warrior (melee/ranged), guardian (melee/magic), by adding the druid class (ranged/magic). They would be very similar to a ‘magic’ ranger by having ranged skills with nearly all of their weapons.

W/E it was nice to read welcome posts from SM, SLAY, TOSH, GH recognizing our contribution from the beginning. Thank you for quoting that old thread!

This is a clear example of the pot calling the kettle black. If you having something to say about us PUNKs let us know instead of slandering us behind our back please. We have a server based forum you know we use and you can PM us if we did something to offend you.

I for one enjoy being a member of EB. As a member of [PUNK] I can say that some of the more sensitive members of the EB forums take offense at the light jesting of some of our members. It really shouldn’t be taken seriously since the very few [PUNK]s that do this do it to everybody, but people make wrongful assumptions, get their feelings hurt over extremely little matters, and sometimes moderation makes rash decisions as a result. I have come to know the members of this small guild very well, and they are good people with good senses of humor.

I would like to request that if anyone’s feelings are hurt they either talk to the person who hurt their feelings or someone in RL about it instead of bringing their baggage to other forums. EB is developing a good reputation especially with some of the more delicate and ill-reputed guilds leaving due to free transfers ending soon.

That being said, EB is a great server to be on. We are developing into a very cohesive server with good communication, teamwork, and a strong WvW presence. I highly recommend people check it out, and Ehmry.com is a good place to start.

It’s more than likely just an accident that they included the Combo Field: Light in the tooltip for this trait, as it does not create a combo field when it is triggered.
