I wasn’t commenting on whether or not the loot drops have gotten worse because I feel that they are worse. I was just saying that a lower level joining your group shouldn’t affect what loot you get. I had a guild mate join that was fractal level 17 on a fractal level 28 run and still got 7 rares. Very next day I ran 28 again with everyone above fractal level 20 and only got 1 rare. Clearly the fractal level of each group member had no effect on my looting.

I used to get at least 6 – 8 rares a run at lvl 28 and now I go most days with 1 -3 rares and the occasional day where I get what I used which is more like 6 – 8.

Except that even in 26, if a random noob joins your team at fractal 10, you dont know, then all the loot gets scaled to level 10, in essence making you run a harder fractal, for no reason. So only run 26 if you know your teammates are 26+ too

According to the forum responses and the Wiki this is not true. Loot is scaled per person.

“For each player, rewards are based on the minimum between the selected Fractal Level and the player’s own Reward Level.”

The first night I spent 5 hours trying to beat it. Some of the hints about setting down your graphics to make the run smoother helped a lot. Also understanding that it’s not a rush past the “fall” made things easier. So day two it took ONLY two hours to complete. LOL.

So I agree, some of the most fun I’ve had in a long time.

One more thing, best part of the tower puzzle is no BOTS!!!!
