Guild Wars 2

As the title says, sometimes when I press the action key to revive an ally or finish a foe it doesn’t work nor clicking the pop-up message will do anything. Same goes for the Function Gyro. It doesn’t happen all the time, but after a few matches it will stop working. I play with around 100 ping so lag isn’t the issue since all the other skills work just fine. I tried playing in fullscreen instead of borderless window just in case the game window lost focus, and yet again at random it stopped working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Google updated the authenticator app for the iPhone and I got my key back.

So the Google Authenticator that GW2 has decided to use for additional account security updated last night and it has the nasty side effect of wiping out all stored keys (d’oh!). Now, I am setting up new keys for my accounts but when I got to GW2 I ran into a huge problem. It asks for two consecutive codes from the old sequence before it can be removed from the account. I have no way of getting these codes since they keys were wiped.

So, what do I and others in the same situation do to remove the old authenticator and add a new one? I can also see something like this happen if a phone was lost or stolen, so this won’t be a one-time action.

Just had the same issue. I found no solution other than going to Account Recovery (https://account.guildwars2.com/recovery) and reset the authenticator.

You’ll have to provide the initial GW2 key you obtained when you bought the game.

I have the same problem as Aadain and my problem is that I can’t reset the authenticator because I never received a serial code on my email when I prepurchased the game months ago from this site.
