(i hope that came out correct)
My build focuses on:
*heavy shatter and
*constant movement,
its very fun. Weapons are pretty interchangeable though weapons with blinks an teleports are best.
I run:
*10/20/0/10/30
with the main traits of the build being:
*Mental Torment (1 Dom) for the 20% mind wrack damage.
*Deceptive Evasion: (X Duel) For the clone production on dodge
*Vigorous Revelation (III Insp) For the vigor gain on shatter (helps constantly keep up vigor)
*Illusionary Persona (XIII Illu) For the shatter effect on self.
The utility slots are pretty interchangeable too, but i like feedback for its utility, mirror image for quick burst damage (though decoy can be used instead for better survive), and illusion HP signet for the HP and the active to regain shatters if i realllly need to.
I dodge around trying to constantly up keep 3 clones and vigor while avoiding enemy aggro, I have extra movement with Phase retreat (staff #2) and Illusionary Leap (sword #3)
A quick burst in a battle will basically be St #2, Dodge in, weap swap, Sw #3, Mind wrack with 4 hits then dodge out.
That’s just in terms of clones, adding in sw#2 and chaos storm ect help ramp up damage.
I try and keep mind wrack on CD all the time and Cry of frustration if i can. If both are on CD i keep the clones out for sharper images proc, preferably with iDuelist and staff clones.
yee that’s what i suggested
Some of them seem a bit funny it took me a while before i started seeing patterns and connecting stuff but this trait placement seems just off :/
Okay so I’m messing around with the traits and looking at combos to mix it up with and one that strikes me as counter-intuitive (and irritating because i want to try it) is Restorative Illusions: Restore a small amount of HP upon shatter.
I understand its in the line that boosts healing and has healing in it but all the minor traits focus on PHANTASMS
why put a shatter skill (as a grandmaster trait mind you) In the tree about phantasms. I propose that you swap the traits:
Resorative Illusions (XIII Inspiration line) with Phantasmal Haste (X Illusions Line)
maybe boost it to 25% for a grandmaster trait. This way shatter builds can choose more easily to incorporate some extra survivability without having to throw out a phantasm and stand next to it and it allows survivability phatasm users to buff up their phantasms that little more while still hopefully retaining the protection buff they gain from regen.
Well power builds damage. I just started on Sw/Sw myself (i used pistol before) and its fun I like the block (i liked sc/sw for double block).
BTW the calculator you’re using is outdated. The traits are different.

Is more updated. For instance the sword trait gives 20% sword cool-down and is only Glyph 4
So it looks like you want to build slightly more phantasmal (for the healing/protection boost.) So my weap swap would depend on the phantasm i want (warlock, Beserker, Mage ect). I would consider the iDefender utility for extra survivability. I would also only consider putting 5 points in illusions and placing the remaining 5 depending on your weap swap/ if you go mass Signets.
For stats i would prob go Power, Crit ,Vit or something like that. Toughness i would consider after precision but the bleed you’ll get from the phantasms (which duelist is best at procing is a nice source of additional damage) iSwordsman scales well with power i heard
I know I’m playing a healing spec – I want to roam support people and help out – If I really wanted to do kill things quickly I’d play berserker’s build or some close combo.
