Free 5 transmute charges coming tomorrow but no splitter for people who want their stats back?

Looks like you guys figured it out, but I’ll make it official anyways.
- Splitters aren’t sold any more because, all skins you would get with a splitter will already be unlocked by the wardrobe system automatically.
- The only reason to use a splitter at this point is to get the stats of the current appearance back. (Or as someone mentioned to create an extra item salvage, but i’d suggest you save your splitter and trade it in for charges if you want value)

We are not removing them from inventory automatically. You will trade them in at a black lion trading post after the 15th.

Okay I have sent in a support ticket a week ago about my issue about the splitter being denied of service in the shop.

So far it is being evaluated …

My issue;

I have 2 fractal of the mist back pieces (ascended capacitor infused) – tons of fotm tokens and 250 ectos.

My guardian is using one and the other I transmuted into a blue item so my sub 80 alts can use when leveling up, for fun and brag.

So when I read the blog about the new features and wardrobe system and quickly tried to buy a splitter in the shop to split my capacitor to retrieve my stats.

Unfortunately, the splitter was removed without any warning or notice!
Pretty upset about this denied of service.

They need to address this problem by giving away free splitters in the shop under promotion. Yes splitters, more than 1.

By April 15th, the splitters will be useless to “ANET” anyways.
The money will be in selling the charges.

I do not mind paying double for a wp but I really hate the loading time that this will impeded on my game.

Remove it or double the cost for waypoints.

What will happen to the people who transmuted their legendary for fun on an sub80 alt?
Without a splitter, the stats of the legendary are now irreversible…

It’s a shame arena.net would allow this kind of poor sportsmanship.
All we need is a yes or no to this spying and sabotage act so we can send a spy over there to do the same thing, even out the playing field.

But we won’t stoop so low. We will grind it out

They have to undo what they implemented in this current patch or at least look into what was coded.

Why isn’t this stickied?

Workaround is to relog and get back on queue.
