Just got this reply to my support ticket, but I’ve got to post my last message to them first:
Me:
“Any chance someone at the Guild Wars 2 Support Team can bother themselves to read an entire report? My issue wasn’t directly concerning the monthly timer. My issue was directed at the daily achievement bugging out. Which coincidentally has a thread here that moderators aren’t really responding too either: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Daily-6-categories-complete-no-reward
There is no worse sign of an incompetent support system than one that answers a question not being asked."
Their response:
“I am sorry to hear that you ran into trouble claiming the Daily Achievement Rewards, and I do apologize that we misunderstood your issue previously. At this time we do not have any work around if the Daily Reward does not appear after completion. However, we are tracking these reports and investigating into any possible causes.
There is also a discussion topic on the forums with similar reports: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Daily-6-categories-complete-no-reward, and we welcome you post your thoughts there as well."
So, they linked the same page to me that I linked to them… More incompetence, but at least they are aware of this thread.
Got a response from the Support Team in regards to my submitted ticket. They only read the first 10% of it and then responded to an issue that I wasn’t asking to be addressed. Completely overlooking the entire paragraph on the daily bugging out. Hopefully forum moderators and the Support Team members aren’t one in the same…
Same thing happened to me. Ended up finishing the daily yesterday, jumping from 4/5 to 6/5. No completion notification, no chest. And worst of all, it didn’t update my monthly completionist tracker (that single daily was all I was missing for the monthly). Submitted a bug report at the time and just submitted another report here on the support site before I saw this forum thread. Logged in today to give the daily another go to finish my monthly only to realize that the monthly has already reset, while it’s still February..
