Honestly I wouldn’t mind the weapon swapping as a grandmaster minor trait (aka 25 points) meaning in essence they could weapon swap with two different elements. HOWEVER, I do think you need more practice with an elementalist…given I don’t feel the staff elementalist is good in a 1v1 situation. The double dagger or scepter/danger elementalist is amazing in PvP if played right.

When I am on my warrior I know that if I am constantly crippled, chilled, bleeding…etc you name it. That each time I get close to them I am knocked down, they ride of lighting away, mist form away…yeah that’s an elementalist who knows what they are doing.

I understand its too late to set something up for election day, but for future reference my idea is having the players vote for a Mayor of Lion’s Arch. Have one candidate for each of the respective races. Each planning to change Lion’s Arch in some way or another throughout their time in office assuming they are elected.

Yeah, because all those people in the way cause everybody to die at the part after the explosion.

Which is by far the hardest part to do consistently.

So true, couldn’t have said it better myself. Because I honestly feel like I have to develop muscle memory just to get past the 1st part of it when surrounded by the larger races.

I honestly feel the jump puzzle should be instanced by those who solo and/or form a group. Mixing it with others can be a pain because going in there with players who are Charr or Norn Men make the error of not looking before you leap more likely, not to mention you can’t just stand around and wait for them to go ahead as you fall victim of being too slow.

Also there is a case for Banner Swiftness which may or may not have been intended by design, there are those who like to do every jump puzzle with swiftness and those who detest it unless needed. Now this puzzle can be done without swiftness, but forcing people to play with others with different preferences does not form community but rather hostility.

As it stands, there is no option to report a person for cheating, but for good reason as it would be abused and typically be a “he says, she says” argument…which as the small print for reporting says that it will look at logs. And that is why a option for cheating could be viable if the combat log was more intelligent.

Now there are times when encountering an enemy is cheating is blatantly obvious, other times you do not want to be quick to judge and would very much appreciate a more informative combat log. So in the case of a person who has “unusually” low cooldowns to the point of suspicion, it can then be confirmed by looking at the combat log. Which this case the log would even mention if the enemy used a purely defensive ability that affects only themselves such as “Elixir S” that way if they used Elixir S three times in a time total that is less than 2 minutes.

The only issue I run into is the problem of “World Name Invader” is used for everyone, in the case of cheating I could only assume the person would act solo.

Anet needs to be mindful that the changes they choose have blowback, hope they fix this issue as this is a gaming milestone in the making.

Given the fact the Warrior is the only class whose traits lower the weapon swapping cool down and their own Warrior rune again lowers the cool down. It’s clear by design that weapon swapping is a corner stone of the character. And since there are classes who are unable to weapon swap at all (Elementalist and Engineer) its fair to say having 2 weapon sets is by no means a universal standard in which the game must abide by.

So I’d have to agree with this suggestion of giving warriors a 3rd weapon set as it offers another unique dynamic to a game that by no means breaks the game and in essence flows really well with the foundation of what a warrior is built on.

Wow, you are absolutely right…can’t believe that wasn’t my inspiration for this idea in the first place. Now that you mention it, the idea of characters wearing banners on their back just became way cooler than I first thought.

Many have already suggested adding capes instead of just having guild backpacks, but no one in this forum has suggested a sashimono (a banner worn on the back of armor).

It would look great for heavy armor characters, especially a banner oriented warrior. Also it makes more sense to have a guild symbol on a banner more so than a backpack.

Thank you, you were right about Empower Allies. What is funny though is my friends Guardian version which gives toughness also works while in combat however learned the buff icon doesn’t show up.

Empower Allies a warrior trait empowers all allies with 70 additional power however when tested with a friend earlier today in group and not in group, close and at a distance from one another there were no differences occurring in our hero stat sheet.

Any thoughts on why this is? Is it simply untyped but still factored in on damage or is it not working outright? Also his guardian ability to give allies toughness also had no change on my Hero stat sheet.
