Anyone got a WvWvW roaming condi thief build/gear combo they’d be willing to share? Everyone I find these days is old and out dated and I cannot make stealth work anymore.

Hey I haven’t been on in a couple of months. Everything is somewhat different and its confusing me to no end so I need a lil help. Mainly for WvWvW.

My gear setup is Valkyrie with Ruby orbs, berserker’s weapons and 3 Ascended pieces.

Last time I was on I still used d/p or d/d with bow as 2nd for both, are they any good still? which builds is meta right now? (links if possible please) anything OP I should know about? and then anything else I may have missed out on would be appreciated.

Thnx for the reply, I done the changes to my traits since I’ve been trying a bunch of different combinations (thats why i had hidden thief). I’ll see how I do with it.

On the other bits what would you suggest I change out to get the 2500 armor? and is Ogre a lot better than Ruby Orbs? I’d love to get travelers for the 25% movement but @ 10g a piece I’d rather not.

So I recently started playing some WvWvW again instead of just logging in for daily’s and I’ve run into a problem.

A lot of other Thiefs kill me so quick, hitting 9/10k backstabs, I’ve had gaurdians and ele’s insta kill me (literally 1-2 seconds cant even respond and I’m dead) I want to know is it my buid? gear? etc, because I only hit for around 4-6k on a tanky and 8-9 on glass cannons if I have full bloodlust.

Any help, suggestions and changes to what I have is much appreciated. I’m pretty poor in-game tho (constantly have 7g).

Hey everyone, i finally got my Thief up to level 80 and I’ve run into a problem. I like to PvP / WvWvW whenever I can but I’m pretty bad (newish player). One of the main reasons I’m bad is cause I can ever hit cloak and dagger > followed by the backstab. Sometimes I get it but most of the time it feels like everyone is just moving away to fast or I’m just swinging in the air like a kitten behind them / in front of them.

Is there anyway to make it easier on myself? or any tips you could pass up? I’d really appreciate it cause I’m not looking forward to level another char I’m half decent at.
